Bow Hunting
By John A. Hallock
Bow Hunting is a multifaceted endeavor that comes with a roller coaster of emotions: Fear, joy, heart pounding excitement, boredom, sleepiness to name just a few. The bow hunter has to overcome all of these mental obstacles and when the deer finally shows up he has to preform flawlessly with physical skills, with hand eye coordination and he has to be quick about it, and, usually, he does it all from the top of a tree. And they say hitting a baseball is the toughest act in sports. Heck, I’d like to see them hit it through a six inch opening in heavy brush from 40 yards away with a grunt call clenched in their teeth.
