The Warmest Place In Town

Cold enough? How about warming up your home or business the fun, beautiful and economical way? Wood! That’s right Mother Nature’s own answer to survival ... heat! And it’s still in vogue and compared to other fuels it’s down right economical. Besides, “it’s so easy even a cave man did do it.” But don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself at The Stove Works in Hayward and in Rice Lake, WI.

The Stove Works stores are true upnorth stores if there ever was one. They have been locally owned for 38 years and current owners Ken and Mary Marienfeld have turned the business into northwest Wisconsin’s most complete Fireplace Center.

The Stove Works carries approximately 56 stoves or fireplaces on display between the two stores and double that amount on the beautiful, rustic showrooms. They carry an array of brands and styles including the best made American stoves like Vermont Castings, HearthStone, Kozy Heat fireplaces and Mendota fireplaces. Or European specialty stoves like Morso from Denmark or JOTUL from Norway. They also carry Canadian stoves like Pacific Energy, Heartland and RSF. All and all you couldn’t ask for a better selection and you can look at all of them. And don’t forget almost all of the stoves are eligible for tax credit because of efficiency.

Of  course it’s not just woodstoves and fireplaces, as some of the stoves are wood pelt and some of the fireplaces are gas or propane. This truly is a one stop fireplace stop. But there’s more.

There’s always more in an upnorth store. Besides the great selection of woodstoves and fireplace accessories, there is a gift shop with Tiffany lamps, with some of the most beautiful stain glass you could ask for, candles, knick knacks and much more.

The Stove Works carries mantels, manufactured stone and brick, BBQs, wood furnaces, outdoor boilers and all those hearth accessories. They have cook stoves and refrigerators, electric fireplaces, wood fired hot tubs, electric logs and gas logs. Besides freestanding stoves they also carry zero clearance fireplaces.
The Stove Works has ten employees including NFI certified installers trained to serve the customer better. Yes Sir if you’re looking to stay ahead of the cold you need to stop by The Stove Works on 15593 County Road B in Hayward or 238 North Main Street in downtown Rice Lake because they truly are, The Warmest Place In Town.
